Exterior Painting

Exterior home painting is an aesthetic decision as well as a practical one. Many homeowners will delay painting their house without realizing the harm they are causing to the integrity of their home. Damage from the sun, rain, and snow can severely deteriorate your exterior surfaces. Chipped and peeling paint will allow moisture to penetrate the substrate, resulting in rotted siding, window sills, and door frames. To minimize any serious damage, we recommend you paint your home every 5-7 years. 

The right process for painting the exterior of your home:

Paint Preparation: The most important step of a long lasting paint job is prep. 1-2 days prior to beginning your project our painters will power wash the entire exterior of your house where it will be painted. This will remove all loose and peeling paint, as well as clean the surface. The first day of the project our painters will scrape and prime all bare wood areas, and caulk where necessary. They will also check for any rotting boards and perform the necessary wood replacement.

Paint: We offer spray and back roll paint application, or brush and roll.

Final Inspection of Paint: Our painters don't collect a check until they are able to perform a walk-around with the homeowner at the completion of the painting job.
